WASHINGTON, D.C. – Kevin Thomas, regional Director of Operations at Linda Valley Care Center in Loma Linda, CA has been selected to participate in the prestigious, national Future Leaders program at the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).

 

Thomas was nominated by the California Association of Health Facilities (CAHF) to participate in the yearlong program, which offers training and guidance for long-term and post-acute care professionals. He is one of 42 future leaders accepted into the program.

 

“Kevin has an interest in innovative approaches and collaboration to improve the care continuum and is a great choice to represent California,” said Craig Cornett, CAHF CEO/President.  “With nearly 15 years in the long-term care profession, Kevin is a passionate, dedicated professional.” 

A licensed administrator, Kevin oversees operations at Linda Valley Care Center, an 83-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, Linda Valley Villa, a 98-apartment retirement living community for active seniors and Linda Valley Assisted Living, a newly opened state of the art assisted living and memory care community. He also oversees Revere Court in Sacramento, Devonshire Acres in Colorado, and Woodlands Assisted Living in Maryland— all communities operated by  Chancellor Health Care.

 

Kevin received his bachelor’s degree in business administration and MBA from Hope International University in Fullerton. He presently serves as chapter president for CAHF’s San Bernardino/Riverside Chapter.

 

The Future Leaders program covers theories and practical applications in quality management, customer satisfaction and leadership. The year-long leadership program kicks off with a three-day symposium on September 28 in Washington, D.C.
