Protect and preserve access to long-term care.

A strong CAHF Political Action Committee helps build and solidify strong working relationships with lawmakers and provide information about the fundamental role of the delivery of quality long-term care.

Member commitment to political advocacy strengthens our voice in Sacramento, and educates officials and elected leaders about the important and necessary role of skilled nursing as part of the long-term care continuum.

Our efforts include political action combined with lobbying and grassroots efforts to ensure our mission is understood by lawmakers and candidates who are concerned about access to long-term care services and supports.

The CAHFPAC is governed by the CAHFPAC Board of Directors, which is comprised of CAHF members.  The Board determines which candidates to support by considering recommendations from CAHF members and staff.
