California Skilled Nursing Providers Receive National Quality Award

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Four skilled nursing providers across California, while still battling COVID-19 to protect their residents, continued striving for quality improvement. Now, they have earned a special distinction with the Bronze Quality Award from the American Health Care Association (AHCA)/National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) National Quality Awards Program.

The program involves a rigorous three-level process that evaluates the capabilities of long-term care organizations against nationally recognized standards for excellence. The program helps facilities identify critical areas for improvement, implement a plan to be stronger, resilient and more successful.

Each progressive award level requires a more detailed demonstration of superior performance. This year’s Bronze – Commitment to Quality award winners include the following:

The recognition is for their commitment to continually improving quality of care and enhancing the lives of residents.

“This well-deserved honor highlights how quality care is at the foundation of what we, as a profession, strive for every day,” said Craig Cornett, CAHF CEO/President. “These facilities have proven their dedication to continually making quality of life a top priority for its residents, and they should be proud of their achievement.”
