Director of Staff Development (DSD) 24 Hour Virtual Training

This class is designed for those interested in meeting the criteria for the Director of Staff Development (DSD) position in accordance with the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 5, Chapter 2.5, Section 71829.

Within six (6) months of employment and prior to teaching a certification program, DSD candidates must obtain a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education courses in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs.

QIDP Virtual Certification Program

March 19 & 26 and April 2 & 9

Participation in this intensive four-part course will assist Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professionals in gaining a clear understanding of their role and obtaining the skills needed to effectively carry out their duties. Although there is a didactic component, class size is limited to ensure interactive discussion and a meaningful learning experience.
