Sign up to Participate in CAHF Legislative Meetings on March 17!

CAHF is hosting Zoom meetings with legislators as part of  the 2021 Spring Symposium on Wednesday, March 17 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm and we want your participation! It’s never been easier to join other professionals and advocate for legislative and budgetary issues impacting the long-term care profession!

We need you to add your voice to our advocacy movement. Legislators and staff have seen reports and negative news articles regarding skilled nursing facilities throughout the past year, but many of them have likely not heard from a long term care provider directly. They need to hear from you. Your residents and staff need you to be a voice for them.

There is no additional charge to participate in legislative meetings. CAHF staff will pair you with your State Assemblymember and/or State Senator based on your address. Prior to legislative meetings, there will be an advocacy training and you will receive talking points and background materials regarding issues to discuss during meetings.

The deadline to sign up for legislative meetings is Monday, March 8.
