The Board of Directors is seeking nominations from the membership for this year’s Thomas E. Spindle Memorial Award, to be presented in November during the Installation Banquet at the CAHF Annual Meeting in Palm Springs.
Thomas E. Spindle, an active member of CAHF and a member of the Board of Directors, was killed in 1969 in an airplane crash in Alaska. Following his death, the Board created an annual recognition award to be given in his honor. The Thomas E. Spindle Memorial Award is designed to recognize an individual who has contributed considerable time and knowledge and provided exemplary service to CAHF.
Active involvement with CAHF for at least five (5) years
Nominees may be active or retired, but may not currently be a member of the CAHF Board of Directors
Involvement in community service activities
Exemplary efforts in his/her professional work
Recognition at CAHF’s Annual Convention and Expo in Palm Springs
Judging will be conducted by the CAHF Board of Directors, and the award winner will be revealed at the annual Convention & Expo.
