Volunteer Nomination

CAHF's Volunteer of the Year Award

The Volunteer of the Year awards recognize youth, adult and group volunteers who contribute their time and effort to residents of long-term care facilities. Winners are selected by members of CAHF’s Public Advocacy Committee and approved by CAHF’s Board of Directors.

All nominees will be judged on the following criteria:

Must volunteer at a CAHF member facility CAHF member facilities may nominate one volunteer per category (youth, adult, group). Please submit a separate form for each award nomination.
Must have provided volunteer services or participated in a series of activities with a long-term health care facility’s residents for at least one (1) year

Winning entries will receive:

Recognition at CAHF’s Summer Conference
A framed Volunteer of the Year Award Certificate

All nominations must be submitted online by EOB on Monday, April 15, 2024.

Judging will be conducted by the CAHF Public Advocacy Committee, and award winners and non-winners will be notified within 4-5 weeks.
