The CAHF Board of Directors is seeking nominations from the membership for the Del Callaway Administrative Excellence Award, to be presented during CAHF’s Annual Convention and Expo.
The Administrative Excellence Award is designed to recognize an outstanding long-term care administrator. The award is named in honor of Del Callaway, a former CAHF Board chair who demonstrated outstanding leadership and mentored many long-term care professionals during his long career as a nursing facility owner and operator.
Licensed California administrator of at least five (5) years
Active involvement with CAHF for at least three (3) years
Open to SNF administrators and Developmental Services QMRP/administrators
Must be currently employed by a CAHF member facility
Has contributed significantly to the profession of LTC administrator
Has demonstrated outstanding leadership and mentoring
Has current, direct supervisory responsibility
Recognition at CAHF’s Annual Convention and Expo in Palm Springs

Judging will be conducted by a selection committee comprised of the current CAHF Board Chair and the previous five winners of the award. The name of the winner will be revealed at the House of Delegates meeting at the annual Convention in November.
