Description: Before entering into a new MCO provider agreement, learn which provisions MCOs rely on to avoid paying every claim, recoup alleged overpayments without a hearing, pass on rate decreases without notice, etc. Knowing these provisions and pushing back before signing off will increase revenue and decrease write offs.

Learning Objectives:
Learn which provisions in MCO Contracts cause the greatest percentage of lost Medi-Cal/Medicare revenue for providers.
Know your states’ MCO approved/master contracts and how to cite them during the negotiation process.
CMS Preauthorization Compliance & what else should be included in new MCO Contracts.

CE Hours:
Registrants must be individually logged in for the full one hour to receive a total of one CE hour (NHAP - 1 & BRN - 1)

BOARD REFUND POLICY: In order to receive a refund, cancellations for QCHF/CAHF classes must be made five (5) business days prior to the beginning of the course.
