Description:
Join CAHF for this dynamic and engaging session that will cover all the new information long term care professionals need to know for 2021. Speakers will provide updates on new laws impacting the long term care sector, new employment laws, new state and federal regulatory guidelines and updates on reimbursement requirements at the state and federal level. In addition, attendees will learn about the current legal landscape and the latest updates on litigation impacting the long term care sector. Lastly, long term care advocates will gain insights regarding the current political landscape in California and strategies to have effective meetings with lawmakers.

Learning Objectives:
Gain an understanding of new legislation impacting the long term care sector including new employment laws.
Receive updates on legal issues pertaining to long term care including updates on current litigation.
Learn the latest information on state and federal reimbursement requirements for long term care.
Deepen your knowledge of recent critical state and federal regulatory guidance for the long term care sector.
Increase understanding of current California political landscape and effective ways to engage lawmakers.

CE Hours:
Registrants must be individually logged in for the full eight hours (not consecutively) to receive a total of eight CE hours (NHAP - 8; BRN - 8 & MCLE - 8)


BOARD REFUND POLICY: In order to receive a refund, cancellations for QCHF/CAHF classes must be made five (5) business days prior to the beginning of the course. Cancellations must be in writing to cmerced@cahf.org. Transfer of registration is done ONLY if notified in writing prior to the start of the class.
