Who Should Attend:
Nurses and other IDT members new to their positions or those who have not attended a formal MDS 3.0 coding class. Administrators and DONs who wish to gain understanding of how MDS data impacts payment and 5-Star Ratings and how MDS assessments can support culture change efforts and promote life quality for residents.
This class examines each section of the MDS and how it impacts quality of care, reimbursement, Quality Measures, the Five Star Program and the Quality Accountability Supplemental Payment (QASP) Program. Updated changes to the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) are outlined in each section of the MDS.

Registrants must be present for both days from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm to receive CE hours (NHAP 14; BRN - 14).

QCHF BOARD OF TRUSTEES REFUND POLICY: In order to receive a refund, cancellations for QCHF classes, courses & conferences must be made five (5) working days (Monday - Friday) prior to the beginning of the course. Cancellations must be in writing to cmerced@cahf.org or via Fax at 916-446-4454. Transfer of registration is done ONLY if notified in writing prior to the start of class.
