In response to the current effect of COVID-19 preparations, QCHF’s top priority is to help you prevent the virus from entering your facility given the high risk of our residents.
With this in mind, QCHF has decided to move the Director of Staff Development 24 Hour Training to a virtual setting. You will be able to attend the training from the comfort of your home and or office. The web-based training will occur in real time with the instructor and will require a laptop/computer, Wi-Fi, and a smart phone with video recording.
If you have made travel arrangements or hotel accommodations, please cancel at this time.
We will be in contact in the near future with more information regarding the web-based training experience for all who are registered.
Why You Should Register for QCHF's DSD 24-Hour Training:
CDPH knows us and has worked with us for 25+ years. They know the education and product we produce and teach is exceptional, and we have never had any complaints from them.
We review and update our DSD program every year and include items we feel are important to any DSD, whether they are new or have been a DSD for 20 years.
This is what QCHF does; our goal and mission is to produce valuable and needed education to the long-term care profession.
We help attendees with forms, Title 22, and teaching tools, and train them to teach to adult learners.
We provide breakfast, lunch and breaks every day and encourage networking amongst our attendees. To this day, we have DSDs that still communicate with each other.
We provide a resource page that is only accessible to a DSD that goes to this training - everything from scheduling to time management to filing systems is included.
