Description: The first step in the National Quality Award Program is the Bronze Commitment to Quality Award. The goal of this award level is to provide applicants with the tools and resources they need for continuous performance improvement. Through the Bronze criteria, based on the Organizational Profile section of the Baldrige Health Care Criteria for Performance Excellence, members will assess their organizations mission, vision, and key factors that lead to success. This will provide a strong foundation for the second step the Silver  Achievement in Quality Award level.  

This workshop will take attendees through each criteria question, discuss the criteria intention and provide time for attendees to answer.  At the end of the workshop an attendee can have a completed Bronze application. 

Objectives: Identify details/characteristics of your facility
Select, describe and improve a clinical quality metric
Complete a bronze level quality award application

Virtual training experiences will happen in real time on the date and time advertised. They will require a Wi-Fi connection, a laptop/computer and/or a smart phone. For the best experience, we highly encourage you to participate in a distraction-free environment.

BOARD REFUND POLICY: In order to receive a refund, cancellations for QCHF/CAHF classes must be made five (5) business days prior to the beginning of the course. Cancellations must be in writing to cmerced@cahf.org or via FAX at 916-446-4454. Transfer of registration is done ONLY if notified in writing prior to the start of the class.
