The NHLA Intensive 2021 will offer concentrated learning sessions at CAHF’s three major conferences during the year. Instruction will include a focus on customer and staff engagement, leadership principles, steps for QASP success and quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI). Other offerings will cover staff stability, business development, and community and disaster leadership. Each graduate will strengthen their skills as they work to complete a quality improvement project.

AHCA/NCAL has launched a 45-minute on-line training on ahcancalED titled “Pioneering Solutions to the Workforce Crisis.” This training, developed by PHI, is part one to the larger middle manager training from PHI that is under development. The webinar instructor is Sue Misiorski who currently serves as the New England Regional Director of Operations for SageLife. Starting as a CNA, she later held positions as a DON and VP of Nursing in multi-site skilled nursing homes in New England and has supported the construction of several assisted living and nursing facilities.
