The LTC Leadership Academy is a program of the California Association of Health Facilities designed to assist long-term care professionals in developing the skills they need to lead their companies and the profession itself in a culture change revolution. It is supported by a grant from the California HealthCare Foundation, which is based in Oakland, California.
Over a two year period, CAHF will launch four new cohorts of the Leadership Academy with 20-25 participants each. The first cohort was launched in September 2006. It will be followed by additional cohorts in May 2007, September 2007 and April 2008.
