Getting Specific–Add Annexes to your EOP to Plan for Particular Disasters

Your Hazard and Vulnerability Assessment will help you determine your risk for particular disasters. For example, depending on where your facility is located, you might have high flood risk. If you are in a different location, your risk for wild fires may be great. Perhaps your facility is located near several fault lines, in which case earthquakes might be a large concern. Some risks, like the risk for pandemic influenza, are universal. Below you will find information on some of the risks that you need to consider planning for. Your planning should not be limited to these events–it should be based on your Hazard and Vulnerability Assessment.
