Conference: Disaster Preparedness for Long Term Care
Disaster Preparedness Program
The California Association of Health Facilities is hosting the first ever Really Ready: Disaster Preparedness for Long Term Care conference in Anaheim, CA. The conference will bring together a diverse audience of care providers from throughout the healthcare system with disaster planners and responders. Long term care is a critical component of the healthcare delivery system, and may be a resource as well as a vital link in a disaster setting.

Really Ready: Disaster Preparedness for Long Term Care offers participants an opportunity to build a more resilient healthcare delivery and disaster response system. Protecting our current healthcare infrastructure in a disaster is critical. We must prepare now to ensure appropriate and continuing care to the injured, ill, disabled and medically fragile people already in the healthcare system, as well as those just entering it during a disaster.
