2017 CAHF Activities Calendar

The 2017 CAHF Activities Calendar highlights the people who live and work in the state’s skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers and six-bed community-based homes for the developmentally disabled.

The calendar reflects our commitment to help residents get better so they can get back home. It highlights our successful rehabilitation programs, our state-funded Music & Memory Project, community service activities and other initiatives taking place in 800 skilled-nursing facilities and 500 intermediate care facilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

We are also celebrating the nursing center employees who helped make California second in the nation in reducing depression, preventing falls, preventing weight loss and improving the ability of residents to regain their independence.

Our 135,000 caregivers provide short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, end-of-life assistance and habilitative nursing services to 350,000 people each year.

As we begin our 67th year of service to members of the long-term care community, we are renewing our commitment to deliver the best possible care and quality of life to each of our residents.
